Conduct Of G7 Governors Is A Threat To Democracy, Ridicules Nigeria – APC Chieftain

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Adamawa State, Alhaji Abdulrazak Namdas, has said the action of the seven rebel governors on the platform of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) constitutes a huge threat to democracy.

He also posited that the conduct of the aggrieved governor has shown the world that majority of Nigerian leaders lack leadership qualities.

The former Deputy governorship candidate on the platform of the defunct Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), (Namdas), who spoke yesterday in Yola, decried the reported walk out on President Goodluck Jonathan by the group, adding that such attitude was a confirmation that “some of our leaders are not properly schooled in leadership.”

“Even if Jonathan offended you, it is not proper for anyone to rubbish the image of our country’s number-one office just because he had issues to settle with the occupant of that office,” he said.
“How can you rebuild the image you destroyed when Jonathan leaves office and may be you or your friend is there,” Namadas asked.

According to him, “people should not engage in politics that poses danger to our country’s democracy.”

Namdas, who advised Jonathan to stop negotiation with the rebel governors, stated that the group was keen on working against the PDP in the 2015 general elections.
