BRAZIL 2014: Emenike’s Brace Inches Nigeria Closer; Beat Ethiopia 1 – 2

The Supper Eagles of Nigeria are too super to be curtailed by the Wayas of Ethiopia by beating the later 2 goals to 1 in Brazil 2014 World Cup qualification play-off game in Addis Ababa.

The African champions came back from a goal deficit to give themselves a strong to qualify for the World Cup finals in Brazil.

Ethiopia’s Asafa scored the first goal for his country, but a brace from Emmanuel Emenike in the 2nd half, the second a penalty, ensured that the Nigerians left Addis Ababa with all three points.

The return leg holds November 16 in Calabar.

With this emphatic win, Nigeria look too sure to be in Brazil. Can Ethiopia yet stop the Super Eagle in Calabar? Time shall tell
