EL-RUFAI'S FACEBOOK FRIEND THREATEN IGBO, SAYS 'LEAVE NORTH OR WE KILL YOU'

Facebook friends of controversial former FCT minister, Malam Nasir Elrufai, have descended heavily on the Igbo nation after a post by Elrufai which alleged that the proposed National Conference called for by President Jonathan in response to Nigerians call was a ploy to reach a "pre-determined agenda".

Almost as soon as Elrufai posted the facebook status Nigerians on the forum divided into Northern and Southern divides with ethnic slurs and insults being thrown about.

The Northerners on theforum tended to side with Elrufai with many saying that the proposed conference was a ploy to divide Nigeria. Some pundits raised the question of why Elrufai and others like him would want the government to dialogue with Boko Haram and would not want Nigerians to dialogue with each other.

One Ken Ellah suggested that a break up was not such a bad idea to which many of Mr. Elrufai's followers descended on him with one Ibrahim Gadah asking Igbos to pack out of the North or "we kill them all". Given that the Igbos have been victims of mass killings and pogroms in the North, this sentiment raised by Mr. Elrufai's post is not want to be taken lightly.
