General Evangelist of the Christ Apostolic Church, Prophet Samuel Abiara, has urged leaders in the country to protect the interest of the masses with their policies.
He explained that most leaders in the country do not have the love of the masses at heart, saying that was one of the reasons for the problems facing the country.
Abiara said this during the CAC three-day programme holding in Joseph Ayo Babalola International Miracle Camp, Ikeji-Arakeji, Osun State, on Wednesday.
He said, “You don’t need a soothsayer to tell you that Nigeria is sick; we are sick in all areas. There are unjust killings of people and I must tell you that the people are hungry. Our leaders are busy fighting themselves instead of coming together to make Nigeria better.
“Many of our leaders don’t have time for the common man. There is a need for us to begin to ensure that the common man does not continue to suffer. We need to pray for this nation because this nation is sick. Government is sick; if anybody says government is not sick, it is a lie. This nation needs prayers.”
