19-year-old Aisha Eniola, a final year student of Mass
Communication, was elected into the Brent Council in London.
Ms. Eniola, who represents the Harlesden Ward, is the
daughter of a former Welsh Harp Councillor, Francis Eniola.
Aisha is said to have won the residents of the ward over with her intelligence which showed through during the pre-election debates.
She won 2, 160 votes for the Labour Party to defeat Simon Erskine, of the Green Party, who won 459 votes and Paul Fowler, of the Liberal Democrat, who won 313.
