The Jama’atu Nasril Islam, JNI, has accused President Goodluck Jonathan and his government of being behind the unabated killing of Nigerian Muslims.
The group, in its reaction to the series of blasts lately in the North, said the current administration has failed in its primary responsibility of providing security for its citizens.


The group, which is a coalition of Islamic organisations in Nigeria and headed by the Sultan of Sokoto, Sa’ad Abubakar, also expressed doubts about the government’s role in the ongoing Boko Haram insurgency.

A People's Democratic Party, PDP governorship aspirant in Lagos State, Senator Musiliu Obanikoro Tuesday promised to ensure the rapid development of abandoned rural areas if voted governor of the state in 2015.

The former Minister of state, defence stated this during the formal commencement of his campaign which he tagged ‘walk with me’, at the National Stadium in Lagos.
Though he commended the administration of Governor Babatunde Fashola for running the affairs of the state in the last eight years, Obanikoro berated the administration for abandoning the downtrodden in the state.
