Aftermath Of Sex Scandal: Mass Exodus Hits COZA

“Smite the shepherd and the sheep will flee”. This biblical injunction vividly captures the ongoing scenario at the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly, COZA.

The name COZA became a ‘street anthem’ a few months back following a shocking confession by one Ese Walter, an ex-member of the church of her week-long sexual escapade with the senior pastor of the church, Abiodun Fatoyinbo.

Ese’s claims had opened a floodgate of other cases. Another church member who simply identified herself as Franca also alleged that the Apostle, most commonly described as a man with ‘uncommon prophetic insight’ al lured her to Wheatbaker Hotel, Ikoyi, Lagos, for a ‘romantic prayer’.

However, since then, the pastor has neither come out to refute or accept the allegation, but claimed that he was still waiting for God’s order.
While many still doubt the authenticity of the allegations, some light-hearted members of the church are gradually leaving the church. This, DailyPost learnt during a recent visit to the Lagos branch of the church, situated in Maryland, Ikeja.

Our findings revealed that many aggrieved members and deacons have left the church since the authority of the church decided to sweep the matter under the carpet.
When our correspondent inquired from a member why the church looked so empty on a Sunday, he was told the population of the church was reducing drastically on weekly bases.
“I think this started not quiet long. Last week was even the worst; you could see empty seats everywhere,” the fair complexioned female member said.

Asked if the man of God had come out to deny or admit the allegation, the member said they’ve warned them never to talk about it anywhere, until he (Pastor Abiodun) hears from God.
“I think this is one of the reasons many members are leaving. The church authority had warned us never to talk about the issue until the man of God speaks, and I think many are beginning to find it hard to believe.”
His members had since called on the pastor to come clean on the adultery allegations, but he prefers to remain silent until God says otherwise.

Our sources revealed that the church stands divided because of the incident. While many insisted that the pastor should speak out, others are of the opinion that since God asked him to keep quite, he should wait until he says otherwise.
A member was quoted as saying, “God can’t ask you to keep quiet in this matter because his name is at stake too. The church of God is being accused here and the same God is telling him to keep quiet? That is immaterial, I can’t accept that.”

Findings further revealed that the preacher is currently working behind the scene to ‘bury’ the allegation.
The preacher has vowed to put an end to the ugly development that has soiled his hard-earned name and reputation.
We were also told that the man of God is making effort to reach out to the media to clear the mess and get the whole issue out of the public domain.

It was gathered that members of the church are also calling on Pastor Biodun to tender unreserved apology if he actually committed the sin or come out boldly to clear the air, rather than ‘waiting for God to tell him when to speak.

2015: We Are Reviving SDP Because It’s A Better Alternative To PDP, APC – Olu Falae

Former Finance Minister, Chief Olu Falae has explained why he has joined others to revive the Social Democratic Party (SDP), the platform the late Chief Moshood Abiola won the controversial June 12, 1993 elections.
He said that since many Nigerians had firsthand experience regarding the impact of the SDP during the military era, some patriotic Nigerians believe such a platform will be a better alternative to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the All Progressives Congress (APC).

According to him, the two parties have not shown the people that they have the ability to address the nation’s problems.
The former Secretary to the Government of the Federation and presidential candidate of the coalition, All Peoples Party (APP) and the Alliance for Democracy (AD) in the 1999 elections, noted that they revived the SDP to be a third force in the nation’s political environment.

Falae who spoke in Lagos over the weekend said, “What happened was that 15 political parties on their own came together and approached me to come and lead them. I told them that I tried a mega party without success in the last four years, they said no, that this time, they are serious. We have since then revived the SDP; the SDP of Abiola, the party that won the Senate, House of Reps, 22 states out of 30, that SDP is back today.”

“The ban placed on it by the military has been removed, now we are a registered political party in Nigeria since April this year. Very soon, we will be launching it. We think it is part of the solution to the Nigerian problem. The two ruling parties are in my own opinion the major problem, they need a third force that has won before, that has been embraced across Nigeria, that will continue to bridge all the division in Nigeria, be it religious, sectional or regional, that is the Social Democratic Party, it is part of the solution to our problems.”

On ways to eradicate corruption,he called on political leaders to be more responsible as they take charge of the affairs of their states and the nation.

“For you to effectively fight corruption, it is for whoever is the head, either at the local government level, the state or the federal level to be transparent, you don’t need to preach a sermon, it is left for the Ministers to know that oga no go gree, they will take their cue.”

“I was Managing Director of a bank from 1981 to 1986. I want to thank God that not a single case of fraud happened during my tenure, because I called my officers into my office and said, I retired as a permanent secretary from the Federal Civil Service. This job I am doing is a transitional job before I finally retire, so there will be zero tolerance for corruption, stealing and bribe taking here; if you take bribe I will not only get you sacked, I will send you to jail.

“Nobody took a bribe in the five years; no fraud in that bank for five years; after I left fraud came,” he said.

BLACKMAIL: ACTOR FEMI ADEBAYO IN FINANCIAL MESS!

Our attention has yet been drawn to the unscrupulous elements who are continuously seeking ways of denting the image of our reputable client, Femi Adebayo, a Nollywood actor/producer-cum-founder of J-15 School of Performing Arts. Femi, one of the sons of veteran actor Adebayo Salami aka Oga Bello, has always been a good ambassador of the Yoruba movie industry which his father is a pioneer of. Since inception, the Adebayos have steered clear of trouble and championed good causes for the industry.

On Sunday, 3rd August 2013, a call was placed to Femi Adebayo by an unknown journalist who claimed to be a blogger. The blackmailer interrogated him on a purported allegation that he reportedly collected the sum of 8 million naira from a woman called Lara who is based outside the country. This has come as a shock to our client.

The 8 million naira is said to be money for a movie production for her which Femi Adebayo was never involved in at any point till this moment. The blogger also alleged the unknown Lara is romantically linked to Femi – these claims Femi has said there is nothing of such nature.

Subsequently, another journalist who claimed to be an entertainment reporter also called Femi Adebayo on Thursday, 8th August 2013, at about 8pm in respect of the unpalatable allegation which he admitted was a fallacy. Not only that, the journalist threatened him over the story.

Sequel to this, the lawyer-turned-actor aka Jelili has debunked the allegations through his publicist, Mr. Gbolahan Adetayo that he has never done any business with anyone outside the country in relation to the mentioned claims:” I have never collected any kobo from any woman outside the country to shoot a movie for her. I have been shooting big-budget movies in the past which I sponsored from my personal purse or by my markerters. Just of recent, I shot 4 blockbuster movies and music videos – they are Sonto Alapata, Buga, Ila and Fuji Tabi Theatre together with other actors and music stars”.

He further disclosed that:” I have released 3 out of the 4 and the fourth one “Ila” will hit the shelves soonest. When I was called by a blogger-cum-journalist to ask me about the story, I told him there is nothing like that. If there is any evidence to prove it, let the person bluntly come out to show the world. I saw no evidence of truth in his purported claims. I have been in the industry now for a while, dishing out my things excellently. So I don’t know where the bad belles are cooking up their false news from”.

Femi Adebayo is an award-winning popular Yoruba actor who is highly sought-after in the industry. He has endeared himself to many with his skillful interpretation of roles. He is an actor who has continued to train upcoming actors at his Ibadan-based J-15 Drama School.

WONDERS! Nollywood Actor Jim Iyke Delivered Of Evil Spirits By T.B Joshua

This picture above is not from a movie scene, it happened LIVE at T.B Joshua's church and it was broadcasted on his Tv....

He is not the first celebrity that will be delivered of Evil spirit. Back in April, popular Nollywood actress Camilla Mberekpe confessed 'Marine Spirit' was disturbing her and was delivered.

But then, does Jim always act like a possessed human being?

Well, according to Emmanuel TV, the text displayed on the church's paid TV cable read he cannot love anyone. This happened today on Emmanuel TV (TB Joshua's TV).

See more pictures after you might have finished reading;

He fell under his ministration and started crying as he went through the deliverance. A spirit spoke through him and said, he was the cause of his setback and disappointment and that it was only God's grace that had kept him.

The Pastor said he has been delivered from the spirit that had kept him from finding love and getting married. But when the spirit left and when Jim came back to reality, the first thing he asked the ushers was 'Where are my shoes meen'.

Juliet Ibrahim will sure be glad to hear this...lol

T*E*R*R*O*R: Students Shot Dead As They Slept In Yobe's Boko Haram's Onslaught

Suspected Islamist gunmen have attacked a college in north-eastern Nigeria, killing up to 50 students.

The students were shot dead as they slept in their dormitory at the College of Agriculture in Yobe state.

North-eastern Nigeria is under a state of emergency amid an Islamist insurgency by the Boko Haram group.

Boko Haram is fighting to overthrow Nigeria's government to create an Islamic state, and has launched a number of attacks on schools.

Classrooms Burned

Casualty figures from the latest attack vary, but a local politician told the BBC that around 50 students had been killed. The politician said two vanloads of bodies had been taken to a hospital in Yobe's state capital, Damaturu.

A witness quoted by Reuters news agency counted 40 bodies at the hospital, mostly those of young men believed to be students.

College provost Molima Idi Mato, speaking to Associated Press, also said the number of dead could be as high as 50, adding that security forces were still recovering the bodies and that about 1,000 students had fled the campus.

A Nigerian military source told AP that soldiers had collected 42 bodies.

The gunmen also set fire to classrooms, a military spokesman in Yobe state, Lazarus Eli, told Agence France-Presse.

The college is in the rural Gujba district. In May, President Goodluck Jonathan ordered an operation against Boko Haram, and a state of emergency was declared for the north-east on 14 May.

Many of the Islamist militants left their bases in the north-east and violence initially fell, but revenge attacks quickly followed. In June, Boko Haram carried out two attacks on schools in the region.

At least nine children were killed in a school on the outskirts of Maiduguri, while 13 students and teachers were killed in a school in Damaturu.

In July in the village of Mamudo in Yobe state, Islamist militants attacked a school's dormitories with guns and explosives, killing at least 42 people, mostly students.

Boko Haram regards schools as a symbol of Western culture. The group's name translates as "Western education is forbidden".

Boko Haram is led by Abubakar Shekau. The Nigerian military said in August that it might have killed him in a shoot-out. However, a video released last week purportedly showed him alive. Other previous reports of his death later proved to be unfounded

Pakistan Explosion: Dozens Killed In Peshawar Market

The attack came just one week after a deadly blast at a church in the city, as Rajesh Mirchandani reports

An explosion has ripped through a market in the north-western Pakistani city of Peshawar, leaving at least 33 dead and dozens wounded, officials say.

Police said a bomb had exploded in the Kissa Khwani market, with shops and vehicles set alight.

The blast comes a week after a double suicide bombing that killed at least 80 people at a church in the city.

On Friday, at least 17 people were killed in the bombing of a bus carrying government employees near Peshawar.

Peshawar, the main city of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, has been hit by numerous bomb and gun attacks blamed on Taliban insurgents in recent years.

Hospital Emergency

Police said they suspected the explosion was caused by a car bomb.

Pakistan's Dawn newspaper quoted the health minister as saying that the main Peshawar police station may have been the main target.

However, bomb disposal chief Shafqat Malik said it appeared the blast had taken place some way from the station.

He told Agence France-Presse that a parked car had been "converted into a remote controlled bomb".

One shop owner, Nazar Ali, told Associated Press: "It was a huge blast that was followed by fire in vehicles. Thick black smoke covered the air and splinters spread all over. I saw people lying dead and bleeding."

An emergency situation was declared at the Lady Reading Hospital as it received the injured, many of them badly burned. Officials said 76 people had been hurt.

Anxious relatives gathered outside the hospital for news.

Rising violence has hindered new Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's overtures to end the insurgency through peace talks with the Taliban.

On 21 September, Pakistan released from the jail the co-founder of the Afghan Taliban, Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar.

But the Pakistan Taliban have consistently rejected the country's constitution and demand the imposition of Sharia law.

Scores were hurt in addition to those killed in the blast. A remote-controlled car bomb was used, officials said. This was the third deadly attack in Peshawar in a week

PM Nawaz Sharif said the bombing was an attack on humanity. Mr Sharif is in New York at the UN and is to meet Indian PM Manmohan Singh later on Sunday.

Mr Sharif strongly condemned the Peshawar bombing in a message from New York, saying: "Those involved in the killing of innocent people are devoid of humanity and all religions."

Ahead of the talks, Mr Singh said Pakistan must stop being "the epicentre of terrorism".

Last Sunday's attack on the historic All Saints church - thought to be the deadliest attack against Christians in Pakistan - sparked angry protests nationwide.

Two Islamist militant groups with Taliban links said they had ordered the attack to hit back at US drone strikes.

More than 120 people were wounded. Friday's bus bomb targeted government employees returning home in the Gulbela area, some 15km (9 miles) north-east of the city. In addition to those killed, at least 34 people were injured.
