An ardent supporter of Gov. Rotimi Amaechi and a Senator of the Federal Republic, Senator Magnus Abe representing Rivers State at the National Assembly has just been shot by men of the Rivers State Police at an ongoing rally.
Confirmed information gotten from a reliable source now says that Senator Magnus was shot right on his chest and has been rushed to a hospital. He is in a very critical condition and there are fears that he may not survive.
Many other Rivers indigenes who are not known were also hit by bullets as they scampered for safety. The incident happened at an event organized by Save Rivers Group.....details much more later
