"I’ll Protect My Marriage With My Last Blood" — Sola Kosoko
Actress and daughter of veteran actor Jide Kosoko, Adesola Kosoko-Abino in a recent interview with Tribune, talked about her life, career and marriage.
On how her dad has influenced her career, she said: “He has influenced my career a great deal. When I started, I didn’t have a phone. Producers would always call my daddy whenever there was a job for me. He was like my manager. I wouldn’t have gotten ahead in this industry without him, honestly. He has been very supportive in every aspect of my career”.
On her marital life, the 32-year-old actress said, “Beautiful! I’m enjoying it. I don’t ever… Let me emphasise it: I don’t ever, ever want to leave my marriage for anything. That simply means that if anything wants to come between my marriage and me, I would fight with the last drop of my blood. However, “man proposes God disposes.” Everybody wants the best, but sometimes, life could turn out badly for some. I pray that God preserves my marriage.”
On her take on failed marriages in Nollywood, she said, “Well, like I said earlier, I don’t pray that my marriage should fail; but man proposes, God disposes. It might be my wish to have a car, while God intends for me to have a jet, and vice versa. What I am saying is that God knows best. I don’t want to believe that any married woman wishes that her marriage should fail; neither would any man marry with the intention of dissolving his marriage.
Defending the subtitling error in most Yoruba movies, Sola said: “Some of these mistakes are not from the person who subtitled them. They are, most times, typographical errors.
When I did my first movie, I saw the subtitling myself from A to Z. It was fine. But after typing sometimes, we don’t take time to correct them. I just finished working on a film project. It will soon hit the market. I have watched it over and over again, and I am still going to watch it again. As you watch, you will always see something to correct. So, I just want to see the subtitling thing as one of the mistakes we make. You must have gone to school either to study English Language or Yoruba or Linguistics before we hire you to subtitle for us. English is not our language; one must learn it. We may not require a person to have a BSc. in Yoruba to speak Yoruba well enough, but English is very important in subtitling”
“Omeruo Will Leave Chelsea” – Keshi
Super Eagles handler, Stephen Keshi has predicted that Kenneth Omeruo will quit Chelsea and move to a team where he will be given the chance to play regularly.
The 20-year-old defender spent 18 months on loan at ADO Den Haag, before returning to Stamford Bridge in the summer, but Keshi is eager for his first-choice centre-back to develop better.
“I know he will leave Chelsea soon and it will be on loan. This is a World Cup year and I’ve told him that he needs to be playing regularly to have a chance of being part the team to the World Cup,” Keshi told supersports.com.
“Kenneth is an important player for us and he showed that this year during the (Africa) Cup of Nations. It was good at the time that he spent his time on loan in The Netherlands (with ADO Den Haag after signing for Chelsea) and that helped his career well.
“I believe he will leave Chelsea soon (on loan) to have playing time since this is a World Cup year,” said the former Mali and Togo manager.
Omeruo played a key role in the Super Eagles’ run up to winning the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations in South Africa

“I Will Cry If Valdes Leaves Barcelona” – Iniesta
Barcelona midfielder Andres Iniesta, has admitted that he will break down and cry, when Victor Valdes finally quits the Nou Camp next year.
The goalkeeper, whose current deal runs out at the end of the season, is widely expected to leave La Liga and probably join Monaco in the summer. Valdes has been in the first team for 12 years and has already confirmed that he will not be renewing his deal, as he seeks a fresh experience.
“There is no doubt I will cry when Valdes leaves,” the 29-year-old told reporters.
“We just have to hope we can win trophies this season so that he enjoys a good departure.
“The squad’s connection with Tata has been great from the start. He is a good person and a real football man – he knows exactly how players feel.”
Iniesta himself, recently penned a deal that will see him stay at Barcelona until 2018

“Lack Of Goals Kill Me” – Mourinho
Jose Mourinho has said that his team’s lack of goals in matches, is beginning to take its physical toll on him.
The Blues are unable to score more than one goal, as they defeated Swansea City at home on Boxing Day. The Chelsea manager believes that forces beyond his players’ control, was to blame for the lack of goals.
“They kill me,” Mourinho said. “Every game I’m tired in the end.
“At half-time we all should be relaxed with a comfortable result and we weren’t and the first thing that happens in the second half was probably the biggest chance of the game.
“After that we had a clear penalty, after that the goalkeeper made another fantastic save from [Frank] Lampard’s shot, because the ball was going in the corner and had a deflection.
“But the time goes on, we don’t score the second goal and you feel like the opponent now believes and the opponent is keen to risk a bit more and put in a second striker. In this moment you are a bit in trouble.
“You don’t score, you finish feeling you are going to concede. But the boys, they worked hard defensively and in the last part they looked comfortable in their control of the game.
“Deserved victory, important victory, and today I can say that the biggest responsible for the lack of goals was their goalkeeper, because he made three or four big saves.
“We didn’t miss, the goalkeeper made fantastic saves.
“The first half save from [Samuel] Eto’o's shot was brilliant. The first save in the first minute of the second half is the same.
“David’s pass just in front of me was good, Mata control and pass was fantastic, Eto’o attacks the ball perfectly.
“My striker made the right movement to attack the ball, he did well, the goalkeeper made a fantastic save.”
Chelsea’s next league game is against Liverpool, who dropped to fourth place after a 2-1 defeat to Manchester City and the Blues will be without Ramires, who picked up his fifth booking of the season.
“It’s the kind of yellow card I don’t complain to the players because he did it for the team,” Mourinho added.
“I don’t want to cry, I just want to think about the solutions we have and prepare the team without him. That’s life.
“If I don’t play him today to protect him for Liverpool, I wouldn’t forgive myself if I lose today points.
“He doesn’t play against Liverpool, it means that against Southampton (on January 1) he’s fresh.”

“Bale Plays Better Without Ronaldo In The Team” – Villas-Boas
In his first interview since he was sacked as Tottenham Hotspur manager, Andre Villas-Boas has claimed that Gareth Bale plays better for Real Madrid, when Cristiano Ronaldo is not in the team.
The Portuguese tactician, who refused to speak about his latest failure in English football, was in charge of Spurs when Bale was sold for a world-record fee. Villas-Boas then went ahead to splash the jackpot on seven players, who have so far failed to gel, which eventually led to bad results and his subsequent dismissal.
However, he was keen to speak about his former protege, who has began life well in La Liga.
“Bale performs better without Ronaldo, he has a far greater role in Madrid’s play when Cristiano isn’t playing,” AVB told O Jogo.
“When there are two quality players like them two in the team, they have to share the team’s chances.
“At Tottenham, Bale adapted to a playing style that allowed him to have the starring role, one which made him his team’s most important player. In doing so, he saw more of the ball and increased his goalscoring chances.
“He’s already a world-class footballer. The question is whether he can reproduce his Tottenham form playing alongside the world’s best player.”
“We Had A Referee From Manchester For The Game” – Rodgers Blasts Officials After Loss To City
Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers, was furious with referee Lee Mason, after his side narrowly lost to Manchester City at the Etihad on Thursday.
Philippe Coutinho gave the visitors the lead, before Vincent Kompany and Alvaro Negredo scored to maintain City’s 100% record at home. However, before Coutinho’s goal, Raheem Sterling was denied a goal after he was flagged offside incorrectly. Liverpool also had two penalty shouts waved aside, which led to Rodgers questioning the official’s appointment.
When asked about the incidents, Rodgers said: “Where do you want me to start?
“I thought we never got any decision. The linesman on the offside one – he wasn’t even on the same cut of grass.
“If you’re working at this level you have to get it right. It’s not even a difficult one.
“It is a perfectly-timed run and he is given offside when he is through one on one on goal. These are big moments in big games.
“There is another incident when Luis (Suarez) doesn’t get a free-kick when Joleon Lescott went right through him.
“It is arguable it is a penalty at the end. Luis Suarez can’t jump because he is tugging at his shirt.
“I thought it was throughout the evening. Hopefully we don’t have another Greater Manchester referee again on a Liverpool-Manchester game.”

“Arsenal Will Not Win The EPL, It’s Between Liverpool And The Manchester Teams” – Mourinho
Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho, has claimed that the Premier League will be won between the Manchester teams and Liverpool.
Arsenal are currently on top of the log, one point ahead of Manchester City, as the league reached its mid-way point this weekend.
Ahead of the clash between the Blues and Liverpool who are in fourth, Mourinho has declared that the visitors will be in the mix, especially since they don’t play in Europe this season.
Mourinho said: “At this moment, everybody’s there. It’s Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool and City in the top four.
“This year the pressure will be not just to win the title, but to get top four. I think it’ll be hard.
“If I have to say, and I know you’d like me to say, Manchester City are the big, big, big favourites.
“Liverpool are on holidays for the whole season, one week to prepare a match, play the match, one more week to prepare the next match, which is an unbelievable advantage.
“And Manchester United, in spite of being a few points behind, are the reality of the last years.
“Leave us there, behind them. We’ll try and do our job and finish top four.
“Arsenal are like us. They play in the Champions League. They are trying to improve from the last few years. For many years they’ve not been at the top of the league.
“Chelsea were 25 and 14 points off the leaders in the last two years. For us and Arsenal we have to try and do our best.”

Nigeria Will Win 2014 World Cup If FG, NFF Show Me Love – Guru Maharaj Ji
The Spiritual Leader of One Love Family, Satguru Maharaj Ji, has predicted victory for Super Eagles at the forthcoming 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
He told Daily Independent at his Spiritual Village, Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, while speaking on plans to mark his spiritual birthday on January 1, 2014.
Maharaj Ji, who predicted victory for the team at the Nation’s Cup, stated that “I have said it and nothing will change it. If the Super Eagles handler, Stephen Keshi, shows more love to Maharaj Ji, the true name of the Almighty. He will lead the team to victory that will shock the world.
“I want him and top shots of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) to visit Maharaj Ji Village and let us have a discussion. Let them come and put Maharaj Ji’s power to test. I cannot be here and Nigeria won’t be able to conquer the world.
“I told them before that Eagles will win the Nation’s Cup and so it was. The powers of Chukwujekwukwu will touch the players again and they will have strength to run faster as children of the light than any other team at the tournament. Nigerians should come and avail themselves of the opportunity of the power now.
“Keshi should humble himself more. I foresee the cup coming to Nigeria in 2014. Nigerians should stop doubting because the Living Perfect Master is talking. I think by now government in its own wisdom would have shown appreciation to me for the victory of Eagles at the last Nation’s Cup. They should know that it is only by encouraging me that they receive more”.
Continuing, Satguru Maharaj Ji said “gone are the days when Africans were rated as push over in football.
“Today, the black man is leading the world spiritually. That is why I am here as the Messiah of this era. Let the people try the power in Maharaj Ji Village and see if they will not be marveled.
“The players, particularly the goal keeper, should avoid wearing blue jersey which was one of the things that caused initial problems for the team during the Nation’s Cup before an NFF top shot got across to me to intercede. Blue is the colour of mermaid. That is not ideal for any progressive development.
“I have said it loud and clear that the cup is within reach and definitely it will come to Nigeria if the sports administrators and the coaches take the advantage. I cautioned Samson Siasia, the former Eagles’ handler, but he retorted saying ‘is Satguru God’? That affected him and he was booted out.
“However, not only the Super Eagles, tell other national teams to come and receive the power to excel and it shall be well with them at any tournament”, he assured.

I Will Learn From My Past Mistakes To Be A Better Steward – Oshiomhole
Gov. Adams Oshiomhole of Edo on Friday assured the people of the state that he would learn from his past mistakes to be a better steward to them.
Oshiomhole gave the assurance in Benin at a luncheon organised for the All Progressive Congress (APC) party leaders and members in the state.
He said that the mistakes in the last five years were not deliberate and should not be held against him.
Oshiomhole said that the unity of the state was not negotiable, and that there was need for the party to remain formidable.
He said his administration was building a mass movement on the basis of popular participation and promised to improve on service delivery to the people.
The governor advised the party faithful to disregard rumour of deregistration of APC members, saying that politics was a business of numbers.
He commended the people of the state for tolerating the policies of his administration, and urged them to remain as one.
Earlier, Chief Tom Ikimi, the APC national leader (South-South), had told the gathering that the registration of new members into the APC would begin soon.
He stressed that rather than end in January, the party had decided to re-strategise and would release the new programmes for registration and congresses soon.
In his goodwill message, Rep Samson Osagie, representing Uhomwonde and Orhiowon Federal Constituencies, advised the governor not to relent in providing good service to the people.
He acknowledged that the state had witnessed more development in the last five years, and was counted among the states in the country “where the governor is working’’.
Osagie noted that because of the visible development, investors now visit the state to do business.

Boko Haram: ‘We Are Fighting A Religious War Against President Jonathan, Christians’ – Shekau
The Islamic militant, Boko Haram, on Friday, in a new video made available to newsmen in Maiduguri, the Borno State capital, said the group is fighting a religious war against President Goodluck Jonathan and Christians.
This is contrary to the views of many that the group is not fighting a religious war.
According to leader of the group Abubakar Shekau, “This is to show our muslim brethren that victory comes from Allah. This is just a tip of the ice berg regarding the booty Allah has blessed us with, the booty, which took our brothers day and night to cart away.
“Our fighters stormed Bama (military) barracks. Allah threw them (troops) into confusion through some servants of Allah who dedicate themselves to Allah.
“Allah finished them. They bragged, they said whatever pleased them to the extent of claiming they have cleansed Bama, now that they have sticks-wielding vigilantes. Even Jonathan praised them, saying Bama are steadfast.
“It is in the same Bama that brothers pulverized 21 armoured tanks. People in multitudes were killed, bodies scattered all over. The sight would astonish any onlooker.
“Soldiers hid under blankets in their rooms and our fighters pursued them and blew out their brains.
“Had Allah allowed us to eat them we would have eaten them but we are not cannibals because we are not spirits or animals.
“As for killing, we will kill (for) Allah says we should decapitate, we should amputate the limbs, we should mutilate.
“This is a victory from Allah, that is why the title of this message is ‘Victory from Allah’.
“We were amazed by the victory in Damaturu, then a greater victory was achieved in Maiduguri and now Bama operation is better than Maiduguri. And tomorrow we will go to…(Laughter and shouts of Allahu Akbar in the background).
“By Allah, if you want to secure peace in this world, you should repent.
“My brethren, we should thank Allah. They try to brainwash the people that we are fighting an ethnic war. No, we are fighting a religious war, we are fighting Jonathan, we are fighting Christians.
“This is a bounty placed on me (brandishing a flyer with his picture), that whoever finds me, finds me and takes to Jonathan, will be given 50 million naira.
“What is 50 million naira. Do you know what we are doing? Your armoured tank is worth more than 50 million naira and we burn it. Haven’t we burnt your aircraft? What is 50 million naira. We do not worship money. As for he who is in our midst for money, Allah has taken care of him. Hypocrites who lived with the Prophet could not harm him. You can’t in anyway harm me.
“Even America has placed $7 million ransom (on my head) if you arrest and take me.
“It is difficult indeed. The way you hide Jonathan in Aso Rock and hide Obama in White House, so does Allah hide me under His protection. You are with Jonathan and Obama while I’m with Allah. Let’s play then”.

“National Conference Is A Waste Of Time, I Won’t Participate” – Governor Elechi
Governor Martin Elechi of Ebonyi State has described the proposed national conference as a big joke and a waste of time.
Elechi, who is one of the President Goodluck Jonathan’s allies, stated this on Friday in Ikwo when founding fathers of the state paid him Christmas homage.
He described the conference as a distraction to Jonathan as the general elections approached.
The founding fathers had told the Governor that they wanted to know the modalities of selecting delegates from the state and issues that should form their collective stand.
But to their greatest surprise, the governor stressed that he would not participate in the exercise.
Elechi had earlier lauded the initiative and urged Nigerians to avail themselves the opportunity of contributing meaningfully on the conference so that any grievances would be addressed.
But in a u-turn, he said that he was sceptical about the conference as it would not achieve anything since the constitution had empowered the National Assembly to make laws for the country.
The governor noted that the referendum cannot supersede the deliberations of the National Assembly but referred its advocators to revisit the colloquium by Former President Olusegun Obasanjo in 2005, as it had the participations of all segments of human life.
He also noted that in the colloquium, far reaching decisions were reached but National Assembly thrashed them because of the third term ambition of Obasanjo.
Though, Elechi said he would consult his constituents to deliberate on whether or not to participate in the conference, he noted that if they eventually chose to participate, he would distance himself and be an on-looker.
He said “The National conference to me is a big joke, waste of time and a distraction to Goodluck Jonathan. I’m sceptical about it. It will not achieve anything.
“The constitution gives the National Assembly the power to makes laws and the referendum cannot over ride the deliberations of the National Assembly.
“The best was the colloquium by former President Obasanjo in 2005. There, all segments of national life talked and reached far-reaching decisions. I will still consult my people but if at the end they decided to participate, i will not stop anybody but i will distance myself and an on-looker”.
“The National Assembly over ruled it due to the third term ambitions of Obasanjo. We should revisit that colloquium and the recommendations reached”, he stated.

Osun 2014: Omisore Is A Noisemaker, No PDP Leader Has Endorsed Him – Oke
The campaign organization of one of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, aspirants for the 2014 governorship election in Osun State, Wole Oke Movement, has lambasted Senator Iyiola Omisore, for claiming that party leaders in the state have unanimously endorsed him.
Head of the group, Prince Adewunmi Batutu, in a statement on Friday, said the speculation was the handiwork of those who were bent on misleading people and causing tension.
He described the claim as “noise making, a ruse and stack lies”, expressing confidence in the leadership and ability of PDP leaders in Osun State to reach a judgment that will be fair to all aspirants.
According to him, “There was no forum where such decision was taken or such statement was pronounced.
“It is not in the culture of our great party, PDP, and moreover, we are all closely monitoring events in Osun and at the national secretariat in Abuja, so there is no iota of truth in the rumour making the rounds that the party has endorsed a sole candidature of any aspirant for next year governorship polls in Osun State.
“The party has already promised a level playing ground for all aspirants, so why would some people embark on cheap gimmicks to distract and cause rancour within the party now”, Batutu wondered.

Woman Loses 7-Month Pregnancy After Lebanese Boss Kicks Her Stomach In Lagos
A 34-year-old woman, Mrs. Alexandra Ossai, has accused her Lebanese boss, Kaveh Noine, of causing her to lose her seven-month-pregnancy after he kicked her in the stomach.
Currently at a private hospital in the Fagba area of Lagos State, Ossai had to have an emergency surgery four days after the kick to save her life as the kick damaged her placenta.
According to Punch, Ossai, who until December 13, 2013, was a supervisor with a Lebanese owned firm, Toppan Printing Company, alleged that Noine assaulted her many times during her eight months stay at the company.
She said “I started working at Toppan in April. I earn N17,000 salary and work from Monday to Saturday. Anytime Noine was annoyed, he would beat the person he was angry with. Sometimes, he would throw whatever he can lay his hands on at the person. Prior to that incident, Noine had slapped me many times. Noine had said he would hold me responsible for the shortcomings of the people I supervised. As a result, I often assisted my subordinates in their duties to make sure that Noine had nothing to complain about.”
However, Ossai said on December 12 2013, Noine had flown into a rage when he noticed something on the floor in her section.
“It was a container for a drug. That is what we do; we produce packets for drugs and perfumes. So when Noine saw one of such packets on the floor, he was so angry that he gave me a blow to the chest,” she recalled.
She said Noine subsequently went into his office and typed a termination letter for Ossai, which she refused to sign.
Her refusal allegedly enraged him further and after verbally abusing her, he was said to have told her that it was her last warning.
The following day, Ossai ran into Noine while coming from his secretary’s office. Noine allegedly dragged Ossai back to the office and called her a wicked woman.
Ossai said “He said I looked like a mad person. After abusing me, he hit me on my neck twice. Then, without warning, he kicked my stomach with his knee. Some co-workers were there but they did not intervene. I felt a sharp pain in my stomach.”
The mother of one, whose younger brother and sister also worked in the same company, said she prevailed on her siblings not to attack Noine when they heard the news.
I never for once told my husband what I was going through at work. I didn’t want him to come and fight Noine. I pleaded with my siblings not to fight,” Ossai said.
Although the pains eventually subsided after two days, it was learnt that in the early hours of Monday, Decemeber 16, 2013, Ossai began to bleed.
She was rushed to a private clinic at Fagba.
She was told that her placenta had been damaged as a result of the kick and that she had to undergo emergency surgery to save her life.
She said “I didn’t know that my baby had died until two days after the surgery. I was told my baby lost his face too due to the kick.”
Confirming the report, the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Ngozi Braide, said:
“It took about five days before it was reported. So when the police arrived at the suspect’s workplace, they were informed that he had travelled. It took a long time for the complainant to report the matter. But we are investigating.”

Kefee Explains Why She Shut Down Branama Kitchen
Kefee, who owns Branama Kitchen – which was shut down a couple of weeks back, has denied stories that made the rounds claiming that the place was closed down due to low patronage and poor management.
The ‘Kokoroko’ crooner, explained that it was a strategic decision and the food business will be up and running very soon.
“Branama Kitchen is not functioning because, we are restructuring and renovating in order to serve our clients better. It is not true that we closed down because of harsh economic situation, poor patronage or poor management. That is really far from the truth,” she told Encomium magazine.
“We need to put some things in place, give the place a facelift before we can commence operations again. But sooner than you imagine, the place will open again.”
Okupe, Gulak Have Turned Presidency Into An Instrument Of Tyranny – Nyako
Governor Murtala Nyako of Adamawa State, Thursday, took a swipe on two aides of President Jonathan, Doyin Okupe and Ahmed Gulak, accusing them of making provocative comments against his person following his recent defection to the APC.
The Governor affirmed that his defection to the All Progressives Congress, APC, was final and nobody could stop him.
Nyako while speaking through his Director of Press and Public Affairs, Mr. Ahmad Sajoh warned the duo to steer clear of the affairs of his state.
According to him, “The good thing about Gulak’s statement is that he displayed so much ignorance about Adamawa State in the paucity of his knowledge. When you have an ignorant opponent, you are as good as having no opponent at all.
“How could a person like Gulak, who was mentioning ethnic groups in Adamawa State, claim that Gella my home town and Pakka Wilberforce, Juta’s home town are also ethnic groups in Adamawa State?
“How could such an ill-informed person pose any threat politically? He does not even know the terrain or the people he is talking of.
“The comfort of his political exile in Abuja and the spoils of his office made it difficult for him to appreciate the ethnic composition of his home state. How then does he intend to mobilise them for Jonathan’s 2015 project? Well, we wait to see.
“It is only by the misfortune of a captive Presidency that a man who lost dismally in an election in the FCT, and scored only two votes in the nomination process in his home state will emerge the nation’s adviser on politics.
“What politics does he know if he cannot advise himself to make any political impact?
“Gulak cannot win even his unit in Gulak, Madagali Local Government Area. Yet, he is the one planning how a President will emerge in 2015.
“And if he does not know the ethnic configuration of Adamawa his home state, how will he work out the political configuration of Nigeria as a nation?”
On Okupe, Nyako said it was unfortunate for Jonathan to engage him as one of his media advisers, since he is not in touch with the current realities in Adamawa and Nigeria.
The governor said, “Okupe is as empty as his boastful words, totally devoid of any substance or values. It is unfortunate that people like Doyin Okupe could be brought to Abuja from Lagos, where they have lost all relevance, for the sole purpose of insulting others who are seen as enemies of a Presidency that has been blinded from the realities on the political landscape.
“One could easily see the negative impact of the likes of Gulak and Okupe at the corridors of power in Nigeria. In the past they were playing the role of court jesters, who were amusing the President.
“Today, they are playing a more negative and dangerous role of ‘hate mongers’, raining insults on real or imagined enemies, and masking all truth and reality from the President, turning the Presidency into an instrument of tyranny”.

Pastor Arraigned For Defrauding Victims Of N20m In Asaba
The Delta State Police Command said on Tuesday that it has arraigned one Pastor Victor Osakwe at the Asaba Magistrate Court for allegedly defrauding unsuspecting victims of more than N20 million.
The Command’s Acting Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Charles Muka, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Asaba that the pastor defrauded more than 20 people of both money and properties.
Muka also alleged that Osakwe was a fake pastor at the Holly Hill Zion Prophetic and Solution Ministry, Akwu Ofu, Asaba.
“Osakwe has been arraigned on 20-count charges for frequently defrauding over 20 persons of a total of N20 million.
“The Pastor’s mode of operation is to raise false alarm on death and imminent calamity on his unsuspecting victims to make them part with their cars and monies,” the police spokesman said.
He said that Osakwe had been remanded in the prison, adding that items recovered from him included two saloon cars, two jeeps, among other items.
