The National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP), Bamanga Tukur has reacted to a letter written by former President, Olusegun Obasanjo to President Goodluck Jonathan.
Tukur in a terse statement released today by his Media Adviser, Oliver Opara, described Obasanjo’s 18 page letter as ‘unfortunate and unexpected’.
He further advised Obasanjo to “thread with caution,” saying his allegations were capable of inciting the people against the current administration.
The ruling party chairman added that “personal attacks or vituperations against fellow elder-statesmen and patriots holding exalted positions in the country,” was not the way to go in resolving any issues or grievances.
