Veteran actor, Olumide Bakare who has featured in over 100 yoruba and Nollywood movies as as well, is presently battling a “heart disease” and seeks donations from Nigerians.
Reports claim that he has been in and out of hospital for months now and needs millions to undergo a surgical operation abroad.
“I’m weak; I cannot do anything for now. I’ve also not been able to work for a while now as a result if this illness, so I’m calling on well-meaning Nigerians for support.” Olumide Bakare says
However, Prince Jide Kosoko, President, Association of Nigeria Theatre Practitioners, ANTP, has debunked the report currently trending online that veteran actor Olumide Bakare is down with heart-related ailment.
Kosoko has revealed that the that the actor is hale and hearty.
According to him, “Olu is not suffering from any life-threatening heart ailment”
“You can quote me anywhere; I am calling to let you know that Olumide Bakare is hale and hearty’.
“He was a little ill but he’s ok now. As I am talking to you, he is in the US on holidays’” Kosoko told NET.
