Rivers Commissioner Of Police, Joseph Mbu Redeployed To Abuja


The Rivers Commissioner of Police, Mbu Joseph Mbu has been redeployed  to Abuja, DailyPost has learnt.

This  was contained in a communique issued by the Police Service Commission on Thursday.

The embattled police boss has been reassigned to serve as a Commissioner of Police in the Federal Capital Territory.

Meanwhile, Johnson Tunde Ogunsakin, who was formerly in charge of the Special Fraud Investigations Unit in Lagos has been appointed to take his place in the crisis-ridden state.
A statement issued by Mr. Ferdinand Ekpe in Abuja said the announcement will be with immediate effect.
