E*X*P*R*E*S*S*I*V*E! PLEASE HELP, TINUBU AND BUHARI ARE BIGGER THAN NIGERIA GOVERNMENT!

About 48 hours ago, walking down the street in my hood with my lil angel, with a visit to the tabloid, the AREWA VANGUARD reported a news where it quoted the Senior Special Assistant to President Goodluck Jonathan on Public Affairs, Chief Doyin Okupe as saying: "ASUU strike was sponsored by Tinubu and co". The quote went further "...The negative disposition of the ASUU leadership is unarguably a pre-conceived and calculated treacherous plot, hatched by Bola Tinubu, Buhari and other APC leaders to undermine the Transformation agenda of President Ebele Azikwe Goodluck Jonathan. Well, FG has given deadline to ASUU to resume, if they did not, they will have to go to Tinubu for employment." Then I took a closer look at the above quote (if it actually is a reflection of the SSA's mindset) and I am of the opinion that, APC is now a terminology for opposition, even if you are apolitical. As it were, every contrary opinion to government's policies, even if you are averse to  politics is now APC-lized! So, now that I am not a registered member of the opposition party, and I speak largely against bad governance, I am more APC than the Tinubus, the Buharis, the Ribadus, the El-Rufais, the Barajes, the Atikus, the Amaechis and what have you. What a dumbly thought!  To have even conceived the idea that a group outside government with all its paraphernailia-human and materials will be more powerful than government speaks of docility at its apogee.

If the opposition is behind lingering ASUU crisis, suffices to say also that APC was behind the longest strike action ever by ASUU under the Abacha junta. Funny right? Would it be out of place to say that CNN's Christian Amanpour's attack on president Jonathan when he (President Goodluck) gave the exact opposition of the country's 'power' (electricity) situation was also orchestrated by APC and did she by that singular disapproval of the President's lies become an APC member? The World Bank recently said Nigeria had 100 million destitute, a figure which has doubled from Baba Obasanjo's tenure through Jonathan's, has that made World Bank an APC? Not too long ago, a US writer, Joel Brinkley said in LA Times: "Goodluck, Mr. Jonathan, it is time you were impeached". Does that make him APC? And like I did day during a tete-a-tete, such comment or statement is the dumbest I have ever read in recent times. Does that mean APC was behind the fraudulent #255million purchase of bullet-proof cars? What about the sleaze going on in NNPC, on the $51million fraud, the disappearance of #500billion SURE-P fund, notwithstanding the $5billion Excess Crude Account (ECA)?

I won't doubt it if the APC is alleged to have masterminded the resignations of the former Head of Service and Secretary to Government of the Federation (SGF), Mr Yayale Ahmed who hitherto chaired the Presidential Committee on Health and the Octogenarian Dr. Christopher Kolade, the erstwhile chairman of SURE-P both of whom threw in the towel to continue to serve in Jonathan's committees? It amounts to delirium tremens to have such gobbledygook as thought and that can further confirm the existing insinuations that this government is incompetent to tackle the daunting challenges facing this country. If anything that goes amiss within the polity is linked to APC, what options then are there for Nigerians? The government could no longer fund the Federation Account as and when due, it is the APC, there are dearths of fund to run government agencies, the EFCC, the Petroleum Trust Development Fund (PTDF) and other agencies alike. If our government is now helpless, do we invite America's Barack Obama to come and run our system for us, or is it Britain's David Cameron, better still we invite our sister country's (Ghana) government to come to our aid? God bless Nigeria
